We are passionate about quality, exceptional customer service, and building long-term relationships with both our suppliers and customers. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and motivated sales professional to help expand our presence throughout the market.
Position Summary
The Regional Wine Sales Manager will be responsible for developing sales throughout New York and New Jersey by opening new accounts, expanding existing business, and building strong relationships with retailers, restaurants, hotels, bars, and other hospitality customers.
Responsibilities
* Develop and manage relationships with retail stores, restaurants, hotels, bars, and other on-premise accounts.
* Prospect and open new business throughout the assigned territory.
* Present and sell our portfolio of premium wines and specialty beverages.
* Conduct wine tastings, staff training, and customer presentations.
* Achieve monthly sales objectives and territory growth goals.
* Identify new business opportunities and increase brand visibility.
* Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity reports.
* Deliver outstanding customer service and account support.
Qualifications
* Minimum of two years of wine, spirits, or beverage sales experience preferred.
* Existing relationships within the New York and/or New Jersey wine trade are highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of wine and the beverage industry.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented.
* Ability to work independently and effectively manage a sales territory.
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Compensation
First 3 Months (Onboarding & Evaluation Period)
* Guaranteed minimum compensation of $3,500 per month.
* 10% commission on collected sales.
* Monthly sales KPI: $35,000.
* Full product and sales training.
* Portfolio and marketing support.
* Performance review upon completion of the initial 90-day onboarding period.
Ongoing Compensation
* minimum compensation of $3,500 per month.
* 10% commission on collected sales.
* Monthly sales KPI: $50,000.
* Unlimited earning potential.
* Additional performance bonuses based on results.
