We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and highly creative Marketing Manager to lead marketing initiatives for Sparkman Cellars and support the continued growth of our sister winery, Sigillo Cellars. This role is instrumental in strengthening our premium brand presence, deepening customer engagement, and driving direct-to-consumer sales and wine club growth. The ideal candidate is a thoughtful storyteller, skilled marketer, and passionate brand ambassador who excels on their own but can also thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Position Summary
The Brand & Direct-to-Consumer Marketing Manager will develop and execute integrated marketing strategies designed to elevate brand awareness, increase customer acquisition and retention, grow wine club membership, and drive revenue across all direct sales channels. This individual will oversee digital marketing, brand content, promotional campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives while working closely with others on our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
Direct-to-Consumer Growth & Customer Engagement
•  Develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives that drive DTC revenue growth, brand awareness, customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
•  Design and execute customer lifecycle marketing campaigns, including acquisition, retention, reactivation, and loyalty initiatives.
•  Analyze customer behavior and purchasing trends to identify opportunities for increased engagement and sales.
•  Track marketing-related financial performance, revenue, and profitability in collaboration with other leadership teams.
•  Create and implement programs to grow, engage, and retain wine club membership.
•  Support other leadership with creating exceptional guest experiences that convert visitors into loyal customers and club members.

Brand Marketing & Communications
•  Steward and elevate the Sparkman Cellars and Sigillo Cellars brands across all consumer touchpoints.
•  Develop compelling storytelling and content that reflects the premium nature, personality, hospitality and values of both brands.
•  Manage and execute email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and other promotional initiatives.
•  Collaborate on creative assets including photography, video, copywriting, and graphic design.

Digital Marketing & E-Commerce
•  Manage digital marketing efforts including advertising and website optimization.
•  Oversee website content, merchandising, and user experience to maximize online conversion.
•  Lead and execute social media strategy across Instagram, FB, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
•  Monitor and analyze campaign performance, website analytics, and customer data to inform strategy and optimize results.
•  Maintain marketing calendars and ensure timely execution of campaigns and promotions.
•  Maintain and update website content, sales materials, presentations, and marketing collateral.
•  Collaborate closely with other leadership to ensure marketing efforts directly support business activities.

Events & Experiences
•  Collaborate with hospitality teams to market winery events, club release weekends, private experiences, and special programs.
•  Support the development, promotion and execution of events that reinforce brand loyalty and create meaningful customer connections.

Qualifications
•  5+ years of marketing experience, preferably within the wine, hospitality, luxury, or premium consumer goods industries.
•  Demonstrated success driving direct-to-consumer sales growth and customer retention.
•  Experience developing and executing email marketing, CRM, and customer segmentation strategies.
•  Strong understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce, and performance analytics.
•  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a refined brand voice and storytelling ability.
•  Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
•  Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working in a collaborative environment.
•  Experience managing social media and digital content across all major platforms.

Preferred Qualifications
•  Wine industry experience strongly preferred.
•  Experience with Mailchimp/Klaviyo, Canva, Google Analytics, Wordpress, POS systems and website content management platforms.
•  Familiarity with wine club management, customer journey mapping, and loyalty marketing.
•  Passion for wine, hospitality, and luxury consumer experiences.
