Brasswood Cellars, a small-production, premium winery is looking for a Estate Wine Educator to join our Tasting Room Team. We
hire people, not positions! So we are looking for positive self-starters with strong leadership attributes who are flexible and love
working in a team environment. Hospitality experience and wine knowledge are required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•  Provide excellent and professional customer service, with an emphasis on creating customer loyalty and retention.
•  Meet and exceed wine sales monthly/yearly goals via in-person tasting experiences and phone/text sales.
•  Perform daily tasting room duties: conduct tastings and tours, set-up/break-down of tastings, restock/organize wine
cases, print menus, wipe down tables, bus and wash glasses, perform inventory etc.
•  Build long-lasting relationships with the Napa Valley community and hospitality industry as a brand ambassador,
focusing on drivers, other tasting room associates, and hotel concierges for guest referrals.
•  Understand POS programs to process sales and shipping orders. Commerce 7 experience is a plus.
•  Answer calls to make reservations and collaborate with managers to organize TR calendar.
•  Collaborate with all departments to provide wine education and premiere customer service, creating a team-focused
environment.
•  Anticipate needs of the tasting room by learning all tasks and being pro-active in assisting the team.
•  Pour Brasswood wines at events, on- and off-site, when needed.
•  Other duties and projects as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
•  3-5 years previous wine sales & hospitality, wine retail or wine phone sales experience.
•  Possess excellent communication and strong organizational skills.
•  Be 21 years of age or over.
•  Work weekends, some evenings and holidays.
•  Be energetic, accountable, and team-oriented.
•  Maintain appropriate professional dress and personal hygiene standards.
•  Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, and walk for long periods. This position requires the ability to
occasionally lift and move wine cases up to 50 pounds.
