Dutton Estate Winery is seeking motivated, hardworking individuals to join our harvest team for the 2026 vintage.
Located in the heart of Sonoma County's Russian River Valley, Dutton Estate Winery is a family-owned winery specializing in estate-grown Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Syrah.
Harvest is the most exciting and rewarding time of year in the winery, and we are looking for team members who are eager to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of wine production.

Position Summary
Seasonal Harvest Cellar Workers will work closely with our winemaking and cellar team to assist with all harvest and cellar operations from fruit receiving through fermentation and wine movements. This position is physically demanding and requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
• Fruit receiving, sorting, and processing
• Tank and equipment sanitation
• Fermentation monitoring and cap management
• Pump-overs, punch-downs, and barrel work
• Juice and wine transfers
• Additions and inoculations
• Press operation and press loading/unloading
• General winery cleaning and organization
• Assisting with bottling and other cellar activities as needed
• Following all safety and sanitation protocols
Qualifications
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work long hours, including weekends and overtime during peak harvest periods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation
• Forklift experience is preferred but not required
• Prior harvest or winery experience is preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and work on wet surfaces for extended periods
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Comfortable working around machinery, tanks, and winery equipment

Schedule
• Seasonal position beginning approximately July 2026 and continuing through November 2026
• Schedule will vary based on harvest demands and fruit arrivals
• Extended shifts and weekend work should be expected during peak harvest
