Hospitality Lead
Winter's Hill Estate is a beautiful, family-owned winery dedicated to creating exceptional wines and memorable guest experiences. We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Hospitality Lead to oversee daily tasting room operations and help share the story of our vineyard, wines, and family with every visitor who walks through our doors.
This leadership role combines hospitality, sales, and team development in a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, sales-driven, and passionate about creating outstanding experiences for guests.
Key Responsibilities
•  Lead daily tasting room operations.
•  Deliver exceptional customer service and hospitality to every guest.
•  Manage guest reservations and coordinate visitor experiences.
•  Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, text, and in person.
•  Coordinate group visits and schedules with tour operators.
•  Ensure all public areas are clean, welcoming, and guest-ready.
•  Drive wine sales and wine club membership growth.
•  Track and report wine sales and inventory.
•  Supervise, support, and schedule part-time tasting room staff.
•  Provide ongoing training, coaching, and wine education.
•  Foster a positive, professional, and hospitality-driven team culture.
•  Schedule includes 3 weekends per month.
•  Occasional evening events and overtime.
•  Regularly lift and move 40+ pound cases of wine.
Qualifications
•  Previous hospitality, winery, tasting room, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
•  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•  Proven ability to drive sales and build customer relationships.
•  Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
•  Ability to work independently and lead a team.
•  Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift 40+ pounds.
•  Wine knowledge is a plus; enthusiasm for learning is essential.

Compensation: $21 per hour plus shared tips and sales incentives.
