Harvest Cellar Internship

Job Description:

Harvest Cellar Intern

Beaux Frères Vineyard & Winery
Newberg, Oregon

Beaux Frères is seeking a Harvest Cellar Intern to join our team for the 2026 vintage. Located in Ribbon Ridge, Oregon, Beaux Frères is dedicated to producing site-driven Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from our estate vineyards.

This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a small, passionate production team focused on thoughtful farming, meticulous cellar work, and the pursuit of world-class wines. Interns at Beaux Frères work directly with a small production team and are involved in every stage of harvest. This is an ideal position for someone seeking hands-on experience with premium Pinot Noir and Chardonnay production at one of Oregon's benchmark estates.

Position Dates:
Late July / Early August through November 1, 2026 (flexible based on harvest timing)

Primary Responsibilities:
•  Fruit sampling and maturity monitoring
•  Fruit receiving, sorting, and processing
•  Cleaning and sanitizing tanks, bins, presses, pumps, hoses, and winery equipment
•  Punch-downs, pump-overs, and fermentation monitoring
•  Tank and barrel sampling
•  Laboratory analysis including Brix, pH, TA, YAN, and fermentation tracking
•  Juice and wine additions
•  Barrel filling, topping, stirring, and racking
•  Wine transfers and cellar movements
•  General harvest and cellar operations as required

Qualifications:
•  Positive attitude and strong work ethic
•  Ability to work long hours, including weekends, during harvest
•  Comfortable performing physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment
•  Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and work on ladders and elevated platforms
•  Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
•  Previous winery experience is preferred but not required

What to Expect:
Harvest is demanding, rewarding, and often unpredictable. During peak harvest periods, interns should expect long days, 6 day work weeks, and physically intensive cellar work. The majority of harvest work involves cleaning and sanitation, fruit processing, fermentation management, and laboratory work.

Compensation:
•  Competitive hourly wage based on experience
•  Overtime pay
•  Daily staff meals during harvest (Lunch and Dinner)
•  Housing may be available for the right candidate

Successful candidates are curious, hardworking, humble, and excited to learn through hands-on participation in every aspect of the harvest season.

Please submit a résumé and brief cover letter outlining your interest in the position and any relevant experience.
