Beaux Frères is seeking a Harvest Cellar Intern to join our team for the 2026 vintage. Located in Ribbon Ridge, Oregon, Beaux Frères is dedicated to producing site-driven Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from our estate vineyards.
This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a small, passionate production team focused on thoughtful farming, meticulous cellar work, and the pursuit of world-class wines. Interns at Beaux Frères work directly with a small production team and are involved in every stage of harvest. This is an ideal position for someone seeking hands-on experience with premium Pinot Noir and Chardonnay production at one of Oregon's benchmark estates.
Position Dates:
Late July / Early August through November 1, 2026 (flexible based on harvest timing)
Primary Responsibilities:
• Fruit sampling and maturity monitoring
• Fruit receiving, sorting, and processing
• Cleaning and sanitizing tanks, bins, presses, pumps, hoses, and winery equipment
• Punch-downs, pump-overs, and fermentation monitoring
• Tank and barrel sampling
• Laboratory analysis including Brix, pH, TA, YAN, and fermentation tracking
• Juice and wine additions
• Barrel filling, topping, stirring, and racking
• Wine transfers and cellar movements
• General harvest and cellar operations as required
Qualifications:
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work long hours, including weekends, during harvest
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and work on ladders and elevated platforms
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Previous winery experience is preferred but not required
What to Expect:
Harvest is demanding, rewarding, and often unpredictable. During peak harvest periods, interns should expect long days, 6 day work weeks, and physically intensive cellar work. The majority of harvest work involves cleaning and sanitation, fruit processing, fermentation management, and laboratory work.
Compensation:
• Competitive hourly wage based on experience
• Overtime pay
• Daily staff meals during harvest (Lunch and Dinner)
• Housing may be available for the right candidate
