Summary

Join DK Wine Group Hospitality Team and work in beautiful Healdsburg, CA. This part-time position receives hourly compensation, plus wine club incentives and tips. Our belief is that great hospitality consists of building relationships and creating a memorable experience for every guest who walks through the door. We produce world-class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Sonoma Coast, Russian River Valley, and Santa Lucia Highlands. We are looking for a team member that supports our commitment to providing excellent customer service and shares a passion for the wine industry.

Roles and Responsibilities

•  Assist with Tasting Room monthly inventory when requested.
•  Accurately enter all transactions and customer information in our POS software.
•  Assist reporting obligations as needed.
•  Support all Customer Service by Channel, when requested.
•  Maintain a clean, elegant, neat & tidy tasting room, Scullery and Inventory Cellar, performing cleaning as needed.
•  Greet guests at the door and invite them to share a wine tasting experience.
•  Educate guests about all DK Wine Group wines, the story of the brand and its history.
•  Host wine tastings and speak about the wines and winemaking process.
•  Show Genuine enthusiasm in sharing our story and our wines.
•  Use creativity, persuasiveness, and drive to generate and increase revenue.
•  Possess a welcoming and cheerful disposition, a passion for fine wine and hospitality, a strong work ethic and strong communication skills.
•  Convert tasting experiences into wine sales, convert guests to mailing list and wine club members, and drive repeat business.
•  Collaborate with DK Wine Group team members to sell wine clubs, programs, and offerings in all DTC Channels.
•  Work with Bacchus Landing greater team for events and planning.
•  Availability to work weekends, events, and holidays is required.
•  Ability to work independently.
•  Other duties assigned as needed.
•  Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
•  Must be able to occasionally bend, reach, or kneel.
•  Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
•  Must have a valid Driver’s License

Qualifications & Requirements

•  At least one year of experience in a winery, restaurant, and/or retail wine setting.
•  Passion for fine wine, luxury hospitality, and guest service excellence.
•  Strong interpersonal, communication, and sales skills.
•  Dependable self-starter who works well independently.
•  Expected to be a steward of the brand in attire and conduct with a professional, polished and welcoming demeanor.
•  The schedule for this position must have weekend/ holiday availability with flexibility for special events.

Compensation: $22-$24 per hour plus Wine Club Incentives & Tips
