Marimar Estate Vineyards & Winery is led by the mother-daughter team of Marimar and Cristina Torres. Surrounded by vines and nestled in the rolling hills of West Sonoma County, the winery produces highly acclaimed Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays as well as Spanish varietals (Albariño, Godello, and Tempranillo) from its very own Certified Sustainable vineyards.


The Cellar Master position is responsible for assisting winemaker with all aspects of cellar, warehouse and facility activities and management. This position is very hands on and performs daily cellar operations. The ideal candidate is committed to producing wines of the highest quality, possesses a strong foundation in all aspects of cellar operations, is organized and self-motivated, and demonstrates exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. This position reports directly to the Winemaker


QUALIFICATIONS
-2-3 years of winery production experience
-Harvest experience
-Flexible schedule that allows to work various shifts and overtime as needed, especially during harvest
-Basic math skills
-Ability to enter tight spaces to perform tasks
-Ability to lift 55 lbs
-Forklift experience
-Spanish speaking a plus
-trailer driving a plus

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
-Cellar tasks including but not limited to: cleaning and sanitizing cellar fittings, hoses, tanks, barrels, and wine processing equipment
-Maintain bulk wine records
-Bottling preparation & execution
-Additions to wine and juice
-Wine Movement: Racking, blending, barrel filling, etc.
-Direct job responsibilities to interns during harvest &
-Facility & cellar equipment management, repairs & maintenance
-Prepare documents and deliver cases for export and domestic shipments
-Warehouse management: Inventory, restocking, properly handle all inbound/outbound shipments, store/stage all pallets in assigned locations
-Vineyard tours for VIP Guests when needed
-Help set-up for events
-Any other tasks assigned by manager
