Neely Wine Hospitality Associate

Neely Wine is seeking a part time Hospitality Associate to join our Team and our evolving hospitality program. Neely is located in the town of Portola Valley, just seven minutes from 280, but we feel a world away. An estate winery that farms 16 acres—we tell a story of place, time, and engagement. We are building an exceptional hospitality experience with the goal of building a world-class hospitality experience. Our ideal candidate would work an eight hour shift every Friday and Saturday, and have additional availability for occasional onsite and offsite events with advance notice.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaboratively envision and execute an excellent, unique guest experience at the tasting room, vineyards, winery, and estate.
- Host guests at Tasting Barn: pour wine, tell story, connect, sell, clean
- Represent Neely professionally and enthusiastically. Build relationships and community.
- Execute Onsite and Offsite Events
- Graciously and skillfully sell wine, membership, events, etc.
- Perform opening and closing Standard Operating Procedures
- Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Experience in hospitality, preferably wine-focused
- A demonstrated record of sales acumen
- Knowledge of wine and viticulture
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Basic Qualifications
- 21 years or older
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds
- Ability to use technology for POS and Club Management
- Excellent customer service and professionalism
- Passion for wine

Compensation
- $25/hr base pay
- Wine Club sign up bonuses + tips
