About Us:
Located in the heart of the Russian River Valley wine-making region of West Sonoma County, RRV has been producing award-winning wines since its first planting in 1963. We are pet-friendly, under the redwoods, and serve wine country fare. We have a fun, casual, and easy-going atmosphere across all operations. We care about the quality of our wines, food, and taking care of our customers. RRV is looking for a friendly Tasting Room Associate with a background in wine, food service, customer service, and a team player. As a Tasting Room Associate, you will be the main point of contact for our guests, so a polite, friendly, and energetic demeanour is a must.

Responsibilities Included but Not Limited To:
- Offer friendly and educational wine tastings and food service for all visitors
- Knowledge of POS software and cash handling with attention to detail
- Complete all opening and closing procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone
- Assist with events, large tastings, and various activities
- Assist with all restocking, wine packing, bussing tables, and upkeep. We are a team.
- Promote Wine Club Memberships, sales, and discounts on all wine, food, events, etc
- Follow site policies and procedures
- Complete projects and other duties as directed by Managers and leaders

About You:
- You must be 21 years of age
- You must have experience in wine tastings, serving, or similar hospitality knowledge
- You must have strong customer service skills
- You must have a strong presentation and will be able to present wine knowledge of wines and production
- You must have strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees and customers
- You must have a clean, professional appearance and excel in teamwork
- You must have knowledge about the wine and food industry
- Must be able to lift 50lbs (one case of wine) and willing to stand, move or walk around for prolonged periods at a time
- Tasting room experience is highly recommended
- *Please note: this position must work weekends (availability of Friday - Sunday), and some holidays and evenings

Pay Transparency:
- Base pay: Hourly rate starts at $20 per hour, based on experience, skills, roles, and business needs
- Tips: Tips are paid by customers and vary by shift and customer volume.

Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, candidate experience and skills.
