TOR Wines is seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and results-driven Director of Luxury Events and Sales. You will develop and execute a prestigious event strategy and exclusive private client sales experiences. In this role, you will be the face of our luxury brand, responsible from conception to completion, designing, executing and hosting strategic partnership, bespoke wine events, building meaningful relationships with discerning private collectors.
The ideal candidate possesses a deep background in the luxury wine industry, a strategic mindset for inventory management, and a proven track record of driving premium sales. You will leverage data-driven insights to uncover client opportunities, cultivate meaningful long-term relationships, and forge strategic partnerships and experiences that support brand growth and deepen client connections. This is a role for a self-starting sales driven individual who seamlessly blends luxury hospitality with wine industry acuity.
Key Responsibilities
Event Concept, Execution & Hosting
• End-to-End Management: Develop, execute, and personally host flawless, curated luxury events, immersive dinners, and tastings from start to finish.
• Brand Ambassadorship: Act as the ultimate host, delivering unparalleled hospitality and a sophisticated guest experience that focuses on flawless, highly attentive personal service.
• Logistics & Detail: Manage all event logistics, budgets, vendor relationships, and timelines with meticulous organization and precision.
Strategic Sales & Inventory Monetization
• Commercial Drive: Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Inventory Monetization: Analyzing current wine inventory, strategically develop events and sales opportunities.
• Data-Driven Sales: Utilize the client database and CRM tools to analyze purchasing history, extract insights, and proactively build personalized sales opportunities for elite clients.
Relationship Building & Luxury Partnerships
• Client Retention: Cultivate deep, meaningful, and enduring relationships with high-value private clients and collectors.
• Partnerships: Identify, negotiate, and execute campaigns, strategic partnerships, and experiences that support brand growth and deepen client connections.
Qualifications & Skills
• Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in luxury hospitality, private client sales, or event management, with a mandatory, deep-rooted background in the luxury wine industry (Sommelier credentials or WSET certifications are a significant plus).
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to command a room, tell a compelling brand story, and converse effortlessly as a Brand representative.
• Analytical Mindset: Proficient in database management and CRM systems, with a proven ability to translate data analytics into actionable, revenue-generating sales strategies.
• Work Ethic: A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, high emotional intelligence (EQ), and a relentless drive toward sales.
• Organization: Impeccable organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage complex event logistics under tight deadlines without losing attention to detail.
• Flexibility: Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the event schedule.
• Dynamic Operational Agility: As a lean, high-performing team, the ideal candidate possesses the agility to seamlessly transition between high-level brand strategy and the vital, day-to-day operational and administrative tasks that ensure our success.

• Able to lift 40 lbs. on occasion
• Work in an office environment
• Must be flexible in work style and schedule travel up to 30%, the wine industry is a hospitality-oriented industry, so availability to work weekends and evenings as required.
Classification: Full-time. Reports to owners.
Compensation: $150-170 based on experience with a discretionary bonus and commission based on company and sales performance.
