Position Overview
The Hospitality Floor Manager role is responsible for leading daily service operations while ensuring seamless guest arrival, check-in, and floor flow.
This is a hands-on, guest-facing leadership role that oversees the pace, communication, and execution of the Hospitality House during service. You will lead the team in real time, manage guest flow, and ensure each experience feels intentional, elevated, and organized from start to finish.

Core Responsibilities
Lead & Manage Hospitality Service
* Manage the Hospitality House from open to close with structure, consistency, and attention to detail
* Lead and direct the hospitality team in real time
* Maintain service standards without exception
* Address issues immediately and own the outcome of each shift
* Ensure shifts are completed, reset, and prepared for the following day
* Operate independently and confidently during service
* Maintain a working knowledge of B Cellars wines, memberships, and guest offerings in order to confidently support guest experiences and purchasing decisions when needed
Manage Guest Arrival & Check-In Flow
* Greet guests promptly and professionally upon arrival
* Confirm reservations efficiently and maintain organized guest intake
* Control the flow of incoming guests during high-volume moments
* Coordinate timing and communication with the team to support seamless transitions into service
* Maintain composure and hospitality under pressure
* Step in to support the floor while maintaining awareness of guest arrivals and overall flow
Maintain an Elevated Guest Experience
* Ensure every guest interaction reflects the standards of B Cellars
* Anticipate guest and operational needs before they become issues
* Create a welcoming, organized, and intentional environment throughout service
* Confidently support guest interactions throughout service, including assisting with table transitions and maintaining an engaging, hospitality-driven experience
* Support a culture of accountability, professionalism, and teamwork

Requirements
* Must be 21 years of age or older
* Minimum: High School diploma (College preferred but not required)
* Prior hospitality or guest service experience required
* 3+ years of experience leading a team in a hospitality or service environment preferred
* Proven ability to manage service flow and operate independently during shifts
* Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
* Ability to manage multiple groups and priorities simultaneously
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment
* Availability during weekends, holidays, and some evenings is required
* Availability for full open-to-close shifts as needed
* Knowledge of Commerce7 and G-Suite/Microsoft Office preferred
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, bend, climb, and walk for extended periods
* Ability to work under variable temperature and noise conditions
* Ability to lift 40–50 lbs repeatedly
* Reliable transportation required
