Arrow&Branch Winery, located in north Napa, is a new winemaking and custom crush facility serving a collective of small artisan producers and tailored to winemaking at the highest level. We use state of the art equipment and traditional winemaking practices to craft wines from Napa Valley’s most prestigious vineyards.

Arrow&Branch Winery is seeking a Production Manager/Assistant Winemaker.

The Production Manager/Assistant Winemaker is a leadership role responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all winemaking operations, including crush, bottling, and cellar activities. Working closely with the Cellar Master, this position helps direct daily cellar operations while actively participating in key production tasks such as sampling, topping, racking, crushing, and bottling.

Serving as a critical link between winemakers and the cellar team, the Production Manager/Assistant Winemaker supports winemaking decisions by communicating directly with winemaker clients and ensures their wines receive the highest level of care and attention. This role is responsible for creating and managing work orders, tracking inventory, and maintaining production records through Innovint.

The position will play a key role in establishing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs), hiring, training, and developing cellar staff and interns, and assisting with the organization and outfitting of production spaces. Additional responsibilities include facility management support and participation in hospitality and client events.

This position reports directly to the Director of Winemaking.

The ideal candidate is committed to producing wines of the highest quality, possesses a strong foundation in all aspects of cellar operations, is organized and self-motivated, and demonstrates exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

•  Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3+ years of full-time wine production experience.
•  Familiar with cellar workflow management.
•  Experience in luxury, small lot winemaking is necessary. Custom Crush winery experience is a plus.
•  Highly skilled in hands-on cellar operations and familiar with a wide variety of high-quality winemaking practices.
•  Skilled in sensory evaluation, especially in identifying wine flaws.
•  Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
•  Experience with Innovint is a plus.
•  Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
•  Strong verbal and written communication skills and a positive attitude.
•  Fluent in English. Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
•  Able to drive a forklift.
•  Able to lift 40#s, climb ladders, work in hot/cold and wet environments, and work long hours.
•  Must be currently legal to work in the United States.

Compensation and Benefits

•  Base Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 DOE
