Wage: $17.50 to $20/hour (DOE)
Training: You will be working alongside the winemaker. Depending upon your education and experience, you can be involved in all aspects of the winemaking process.

Our focus as a winery is to create ultra-premium wine using a minimalist approach. What we produce is diverse and varied from premier Chardonnay to Auxerrois; from Cabernet Sauvignon to Carmenere.
Position Purpose
Lobo Hills Wine Co. is looking for hard-working, motivated, and dedicated individual to intern during the 2026 harvest in Woodinville, WA. This position requires genuine physical work and stamina. This is an educational opportunity for someone looking to expand their experience in the wine industry. Interns will work closely with the winemaker to produce ultra-premium fruit from small (1 ton) to medium (10 tons) batches that require close attention throughout the entire process.

Candidates will take winery hygiene and the listed responsibilities very seriously.
What You Will Do
• Clean and prep crush equipment, tanks, hoses, pumps, fermenter bins (48" macro bins), picking bins, and more using mild cleaners and brushes
• Crush Pad activities – Press, shaker table, conveyor and destemmer sanitation; fruit sorting; occasional foot stomping
• Daily fermentation cap management – punch downs
• Lees stirring on red wines and white wines
• Barrel washing
• Moving and stacking barrels, bins, fermenters, and equipment by use of a manual pallet jack and/or forklift (prior certification required)
• Racking juice or wine between tanks and barrels
• Assisting with press operations using bladder press
• Assisting with lab analyses, inoculations, additions, data entry, and the collection of daily numbers (brix and temperatures)
What You Will Bring
• Desired qualities: Professional, friendly, and used to hard work. Passionate about wine and the winemaking process.
• Physical Requirements: Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time. Understanding that we work until the task is complete.
• Qualifications: 2+ years of college or university training in enology / viticulture / food science / chemistry. It is desired but not necessary to have an overall knowledge of wine and the wine industry.
• Other qualifications: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where executing to direction is critical. Goal oriented and able to work as part of a team. Ability to speak comfortably and audibly in front of groups. Must be flexible and available to work varied hours.
• Scheduling Requirements: Our goal is to have interns work only 5 days per week with two days off. Still, in those 5 days, there will be overtime. Depending upon the scheduling, weekend hours might be required.
