Position Summary:

As part of our winemaking team, Production Staff under the direction of the Bottling, Cellar Supervisor or Crush Operations Shift Lead assist with winemaking tasks in areas of harvest, cellar, bottling, sparkling wine production and warehouse operations. They perform manual labor and administrative duties in task set up, equipment operation, performance of work and clean up operations in these areas. They are responsible for performing work in all areas of production in accordance with the company SOP’s, quality, efficiency, and branding standards.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
•  Equipment sanitation
•  Facility Sanitation
•  Wine Transfer Operations
•  Crush Operations
•  Cellar Operations
•  Sparkling Wine Operations
•  Bottling Operations
•  Recordkeeping – Accurately document hours worked daily in the time clock system by labor code.
•  Complete Required Safety Training - OSHA 10hr General Industry, forklift certification, confined space, Lock Out Tag Out, Hazardous Communications (SDS).

Education/Experience/Skills:
•  Associates degree or technical college education is preferred. 1 – 2 years manufacturing/production experience or equivalent. Previous winery experience is a plus.
•  Demonstrate above average organizational skills and attention to detail.
•  Ability to follow direction from a supervisor.
•  Must read, understand and follow written and verbal instruction in English..
•  Proper use of safety equipment and ability to follow safety regulations.
•  Arrive for work on time and have a reliable attendance record.
•  Meet productivity standards in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
•  Demonstrate thorough, neat and orderly work habits.
•  A positive attitude and communication skills that fit well with a team.
•  Able to read, understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
•  Possess basic math skills. Able to understand and accurately apply math calculations to practical situations, such as fractions, decimals, percentages, rates per hour and gallons per inch. Able to use a calculator.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
•  Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently.
•  Ability to walk, stand and sit sometimes for prolonged periods of time.
•  Ability to climb stairs/ladder to work platforms 12 feet high or more frequently.
•  Ability to wear personal protective equipment. (Hearing protection, safety glasses, hair net, reflective vest etc.)
•  Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules.
•  Ability to work outdoors under variable weather conditions i.e. the heat and humidity of a Central Florida summer.
•  Exposure to loud noise and work near moving mechanical parts and forklift traffic.

Other Requirements:
•  Must be 18-years of age.
•  Must be elegible for employment in the USA.
•  Must have a clean driving record.
•  Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
•  Fluent in English.
•  Must successfully complete a background check.
•  Must successfully complete OSHA 10 hour General Industry safety training.
•  Flexible schedule: Able to work a 10 hour shift starting at 5am if required. General work hours Monday to Thrusday 7.00 am to 5.30 pm. Able to work weekends and holidays when necessary. Able to work overtime if needed. Complete availability during the grape harvest season (August- September). During harvest staff's schedule changes to 3 - 8 hour shifts per day to have 24 hour coverage. Staff must be willing to work morning (7am - 3pm), mid shift (3pm – 11pm) or night shift (11pm – 7am) as may be required.
