Samuel Louis Wines is a *very* small wine producer in Santa Cruz, CA. We work with organically farmed, mountainous sites around the Monterey Bay region- Santa Cruz Mountains, Gabilan Mountains, Santa Lucia Highlands, etc. We make wines with with very low intervention, but we are not natural. This is an opportunity to learn how to make neoclassical wines that smell, taste, and feel like the vintage and vineyards they were grown in.

We are looking for one person, ideally with some harvest experience under their belt, to fill out the harvest team.

Winemaking is glorified manual labor. It's not for everyone, but it is beautiful. Daily jobs may include but aren't confined to:

Equipment sanitation
Juice/wine movements
Vineyard sampling
Fermentation management
Barrel work
Wine tasting
Lots of time on feet
Good times with good people
Early mornings
Late nights
More cleaning

This position can start late July or early August. It can be part-time or full-time. We do not provide housing.
