Seasonal/On-Call Visitor Center Host Role:

The Visitor Center Host is the embodiment of Quintessa and our guest experience philosophy. A key role with Quintessa, our hosts serve to educate our guests, share our unique story and invite our guests to purchase wines and join our membership program.

Essential Duties:

•  Guest Experience - Host our guests for an educational and memorable visit to our estate. Our hosts create memories through storytelling andeducatethrough sharing their knowledge of our winemakingtechniques and viticultural practices.
•  Guest Engagement - Our hosts strive to create and cultivate meaningful relationships withVineyard Circlemembers and guests with genuine interaction that is approachable and friendly.
•  Create andmaintaina guest-oriented environment focused on building customer relationships and loyalty.
•  Well versed and passionate about wine.Seekstoattainwine knowledge ranging from the wine industry,productionand biodynamic farming. Deploys that knowledge to build rapport and educate our guests and members.
•  Input orders andmaintaincustomer notes accurately and ina timelyfashion through our CRM.
•  Ability to work in fast paced environment and keep busy during down time.
•  Engage with guests and promote capture of contact data for Vineyard Circle, mailing list, and wine sales.

Estate Host Qualifications:

•  Minimum of2 years' experience in hospitality,wineor related industry
•  Ability to work weekends,holidaysand some evenings.
•  Show's success in membership acquisition and wine sales
•  Displays order entry accuracy and consistent guest follow up
•  Preliminary wine,winemakingand grape growing knowledge
•  POS/CRM systems experience
•  Attendin houseeducational trainings
•  ABC or TIPS Certification
•  Experience with and ability to host large groups
•  Is a reliable team member with excellent time and attendance record
•  Displays time management maturity and hosts groups within the allottedtime frame
•  Expressesan internal culture of sales success and team building
•  Acts as a Quintessa and HV ambassador when doing outreach and attending networking events
•  Ability to host special experiences including, but not limitedto:events, VIP, trade, family, offsite pouring, etc.


Physical requirements:

•  Ability to stand forlong periodsof time.
•  Available to work nights, weekends,some holidaysand have a flexible schedule.
•  Repetitive use of hands and wrists to open wine bottles, pour wine andoperatePOSsystem.
•  Lifting/carrying average weightfrequently40 lbs.
•  Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
•  Pushing/pulling average weightfrequently50 lbs.
