Summary: Detail-oriented and safety-focused Maintenance Technician that will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment ensuring peak operational performance. Skilled in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and working across varying departments to minimize downtime and enhance efficiency.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Perform preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and infrastructure across departments and properties.
•  Maintaining high standards in a Tasting Room environment while maintaining professionalism and a positive guest experience.
•  Follows GMP and general housekeeping procedures to include work areas and tools.
•  Maintaining a wide range of equipment such as boilers, glycol systems, refrigeration chillers, bottling line equipment, humidification systems and more.
•  Ability to identify problems and see them through to successful conclusion.
•  Performs emergency duties as needed, which could be after normal business hours.
•  Assists in the movement and assembly of furniture, movement of materials and equipment as needed.
•  Utilize CMMS system for tracking all work orders and documenting completed maintenance and repairs.
•  Maintenance of regulatory requirements such as Storm Water, Sanitary Systems, Process Water, Drinking Water and others.
•  Other duties as requested by management.
•  Required to work at other JPV facilities as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in industrial maintenance (machinery, pumps, electrical, plumbing) winery experience preferred
•  Commitment to excellence and high standards.
•  Strong problem-solving skills and natural curiosity for investigation.
•  Experience working with processing equipment like de-stemmers, crushers, optical sorters and presses.
•  Experience working with electrical distribution; ability to read schematics.
•  Ability to operate basic electronic testing and measurement equipment like a multimeter or megohmmeter.
•  Ability to understand technical documents and manufacturers’ guidelines.
•  Ability to do basic plumbing like PVC work and soldering copper piping.
•  Excellent written and oral communication skills, including knowledge of computer programs such as Word, Excel, MS Teams and Outlook.
•  Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
•  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to manage priorities and workflow
•  Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities and during “after-hours” emergencies.
•  Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions while maintaining professionalism and high-quality performance
•  Ability to understand and follow all safety requirements and procedures.
•  Valid California’s Driver’s License and clean driving record.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
•  Ability to walk, kneel, bend, and stand for prolong periods of time.
•  Ability to climb stairs and cat walks.
•  Ability to utilize hand and power tools associated with facility maintenance.
•  Ability and willingness to work after hours, when needed, during harvest and in case of an emergency.
•  Ability to work at heights of up to 45 feet.
