Assistant Hospitality Specialist
Position Summary:
Lasseter Family Winery is seeking a dynamic and passionate Assistant Hospitality Specialist to join our talented team in creating an exceptional experience for every guest and member. This role is responsible for delivering gracious hospitality, promoting our wines and brand story, supporting sales and wine club growth, and ensuring the hospitality spaces remain welcoming, polished, and efficiently maintained throughout daily operations.
Nestled among organically farmed estate vineyards just outside Glen Ellen, our winery offers intimate, tasting experiences in a vibrant and collaborative environment. We are looking for someone who thrives in hospitality, enjoys working as part of a close-knit team, and takes pride in creating memorable guest experiences.
Under the supervision of the DTC Manager, the Assistant Hospitality Specialist assists with wine sales, guest education, POS transactions, inventory support, event assistance, and daily hospitality operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide warm, personalized hospitality to all guests and wine club members
Present the winery story and wines with consistent brand messaging
Set tasting tables and maintain inviting guest spaces throughout service
Replenish water bottles and clear/reset tables as guests depart
Assist Wine Specialists with packing wine orders at checkout
Support onsite and offsite winery events as needed
Sanitize hospitality areas inside and out
Restock wine in hospitality areas and fulfillment spaces
Maintain cleanliness and organization of inventory and storage areas
Wash, polish, and rack glassware
Qualifications:
Passion for wine and personalized guest service
Strong communication and storytelling skills
Team-oriented attitude with a positive, professional demeanor
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with accurate POS and customer data entry skills
Organized and proactive in maintaining hospitality and inventory spaces
Wine knowledge and enthusiasm for learning
Ability to work weekends and occasional evenings
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Must be able to work weekends and occasional evenings
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
Must be at least 21 years old
Previous hospitality, retail, or winery experience preferred

Compensation:
$19-$21 and hour, with additional incentives, tipss, and commissions.
