Brut Bottling is a Napa-based sparkling wine production and bottling company providing custom services for specializing Traditional Method, Charmat, and forced carbonation sparkling wines, both mobile and from our Napa facility.
We are looking for cellar and bottling line workers to join our team. Come with your positive attitude and good work ethic and learn about sparkling wines production.
The position will focus on supporting the bottling operations with off-loading glass bottles and re-packing finished goods. This position is not limited to the bottling line, and can evolve into other responsibilities, such as labeling, transferring, and cellar work.
Job Duties:
Load and unload empty glass bottles onto bottling line conveyors
Hand-pack finished wine bottles into cartons and case boxes
Assemble and prepare packaging materials including dividers, cartons, and inserts
Inspect bottles, crowns, corks, capsules, and labels for visible defects during production
Perform visual quality checks on fill levels, label placement, and packaging appearance
Apply labels, capsules, or case markings manually when required
Stack, wrap, and palletize finished case goods for storage or shipment
Maintain a steady supply of dry goods and packaging materials to the bottling line
Remove damaged bottles, packaging defects, or rejected products from production flow
Assist with line changeovers between different wines, bottle formats, or packaging configurations
Clean and sanitize bottling line work areas, equipment surfaces, and production floors
Assist with setup and breakdown of hoses, fittings, and bottling support materials
Follow winery sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures throughout production
Support inventory organization and movement of glass, corks, labels, and finished goods
Operate pallet jacks or forklifts for material movement when certified
Maintain organized workstations to ensure efficient bottling operations
Work collaboratively with bottling crews, cellar staff, and production personnel to maintain line efficiency
Assist with mobile bottling line loading, unloading, and transport preparation between winery locations
Perform physically demanding labor including repetitive lifting, bending, standing, and carrying throughout production shifts
Ability to lift 50 LBS
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED is preferred.
Forklift certification is a plus, but not mandatory.
