Bella Union Winery, part of the renowned Far Niente Wine Estates portfolio, is seeking an inspiring and experienced Estate Director to lead the next chapter of our luxury hospitality experience in the heart of Rutherford.

What You’ll Do

As Estate Director, you will oversee all aspects of the estate experience, ensuring operational excellence, elevated hospitality, strong financial performance, and meaningful guest engagement.

In This Role, You Will:

•  Lead the daily operations of the estate, ensuring every experience reflects Bella Union’s luxury brand standards and vision
•  Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing hospitality team focused on exceptional service, wine education, and guest engagement
•  Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
•  Partner cross-functionally with leadership teams across marketing, finance, facilities, IT, HR, and winemaking to support estate success
•  Champion an elevated estate environment by ensuring every guest touchpoint reflects Bella Union’s refined hospitality standards
•  Identify innovative ways to create differentiated and memorable experiences for members and guests
•  Stay informed on emerging trends in luxury hospitality and wine experiences to continuously evolve offerings and programming
•  Collaborate with Marketing and Winemaking teams to support strategic hospitality and wine initiatives
•  Balance legacy and innovation while helping shape the future evolution of the Bella Union guest experience
•  Curate and support engaging hospitality programming that drives visitation, member loyalty, and long-term brand engagement
•  Drive estate profitability through exceptional hospitality execution, thoughtful resource management, and team leadership
•  Build strong relationships within the Napa Valley community and serve as a passionate ambassador for Bella Union and Far Niente Wine Estates
•  Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations
•  Lead with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to excellence in every interaction

What You Bring

You are a passionate hospitality professional with a natural ability to create elevated guest experiences while inspiring teams and driving business success.

Ideally, You Have:
•  5+ years of leadership experience in winery hospitality, luxury hospitality, direct-to-consumer sales, or related operations
•  Expertise in luxury guest engagement, wine club or loyalty programs, and premium customer experiences
•  A collaborative leadership style with proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop teams
•  Strong business acumen with the ability to balance hospitality excellence and operational performance
•  Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
•  Curiosity, creativity, and attention to detail
•  Proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS systems
•  A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field preferred

Physical Requirements
•  Ability to move throughout the estate and navigate stairs
•  Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
•  Ability to work in a dynamic hospitality environment
