Your passion for wine comes through naturally, whether you’re telling the story of a vineyard, guiding a tasting, or helping a guest find a bottle they’ll be excited to take home and add to their cellar. You’re comfortable introducing guests to the Cellar Club, recommending wines with confidence, and creating thoughtful, memorable experiences that lead to lasting connections with Dusky Goose.
We are Dusky Goose, a small but mighty team crafting limited-production Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the heart of the Dundee Hills. For over 20 years, our wines have been shaped by the hands of founding winemaker Lynn Penner-Ash and now by Andrew Imboden. We focus on expressive wines built to age and showcase the unique character of our vineyards. Our estate tasting room, nestled within Rambouillet Vineyard, offers one of the most intimate and educational tasting experiences in the Willamette Valley.

Confident in guiding guests through tastings and selling wine, club memberships, and new releases with enthusiasm

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage reservations and transactions seamlessly
Available for weekends, some holidays, and occasional evening events

In this role, you will:
Host guests at our estate tasting room, leading engaging and educational tastings
Share the story of Dusky Goose, our vineyards, and the Dundee Hills AVA
Provide an exceptional guest experience while helping drive wine sales and club sign-ups
Manage reservations and transactions via Tock and Commerce7
Work closely with the Hospitality Manager to meet individual and team sales goals
Schedule: 2-4 days per week. Saturday and Sunday availability is required.

What you bring:
3+ years of experience in hospitality, tasting rooms, wine sales, or a related service industry
A passion for wine and enthusiasm for sharing it
A proven ability to sell, with a results-driven mindset and comfort recommending wines based on guest preferences
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
The ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting
Experience with Tock and Commerce7 (or similar platforms) preferred
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
A valid driver’s license and OLCC Server permit
Must be 21+ with reliable transportation
