Located in the heart of Oregon's wine country, Sokol Blosser is one of the state's founding wineries. Our 2026 harvest will focus on the production of both small batch Pinot Noir for our Sokol Blosser brand and large format fermentations for our Evolution brand. Additionally, we work with Chardonnay, Rose of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Gamay, Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, and various sparkling base production. Our estate vineyards are certified organic, and our company is B-Corp certified.
For the upcoming 2026 harvest, we are looking to hire a Fermentation Intern who will be responsible for performing lab analysis and daily fermentation checks/monitoring. This position will focus on fermentation monitoring and lab work, but will also include cellar work as needed.

This position will require the ability to work long hours, be detail-oriented, be a great team player, have a curious mind, and maintain good humor and positivity!

Summary of harvest tasks and requirements:
•  Daily fermentation checks
•  Basic lab work (densitometer, titrations, pH), comprehension of lab data
•  Vineyard sampling & berry analysis
•  Attention to detail/safety
•  Fruit receival
•  Cap management, racking, inoculations, additions, barrel work, dig outs
•  Daily cleaning of equipment and facility
•  Ability to follow directions; oral and written
•  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work long hours in variable conditions,
•  Forklift experience is great!

No phone calls, please. The duration of this position would likely be 2-3 months. The start date will be determined with an estimated date in August, lasting through October or November 2026. After the 2026 flowering, we will be able to finalize a start date. Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
