DRNK Winery is a boutique, family-owned and operated winery in the heart of the Russian River Valley. We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable wine professional to join our small and dynamic team as a Tasting Room Host. RESPONSIBILITIES
Schedule tastings and communicate with prospective guests
Set up and clean up for winery tastings and tours
Host and lead tastings and cave tours for groups of all sizes, sharing detailed knowledge of our wines, the Sonoma County region, and the DRNK story
Process on-site wine sales and shipments
Uphold our high standard of hospitality and deliver a superior customer service experience
Actively sell wine and wine club memberships in line with monthly goals
Manage outside relationships, including industry partners and contractual business partners
Perform daily tasting room tasks independently and with initiative
Represent DRNK Winery at outside events and community outreach efforts

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 2 years of relevant wine industry or tasting room experience
Experience with POS systems
Formal wine education or demonstrated knowledge of wine production and history
Self-starter who can work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality
Strong communication skills and comfort speaking to large groups


SCHEDULE & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Friday through Sunday, with additional days based on bookings and events
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and periodic overtime
Must be at least 21 years of age
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks outdoors in changing weather conditions
Ability to stand for extended periods and walk 2+ miles on flat, sloped, or uneven terrain
Able to bend, stoop, twist, and move over wet or unstable surfaces for prolonged periods

Base pay: $20-25/hour DOE plus tips and sales incentives
