Position Overview
BVNA is seeking a driven and technically skilled Technical Sales Manager to lead sales activities within an assigned territory. This role combines consultative sales, technical expertise, and relationship management to identify opportunities, grow market share, and meet revenue goals.
The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who can build strong customer relationships while delivering tailored equipment solutions. This position works closely with leadership, service teams, and global product groups and requires a high level of collaboration, organization, and travel.

Key Responsibilities
•  Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts while actively prospecting and developing new business opportunities
•  Build strong relationships with winery stakeholders, including winemakers, cellar managers, executives, and consultants
•  Assess customer operations to identify process improvements and equipment needs
•  Recommend customized technical solutions aligned with BVNA’s product portfolio
•  Prepare detailed proposals, quotes, and technical presentations
•  Lead the full sales cycle—from initial contact through order, delivery, and commissioning
•  Coordinate with internal teams (service, logistics, management) to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction
•  Provide expert guidance on equipment selection, configuration, and performance optimization
•  Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, replacements, and process improvements
•  Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking activities to promote BVNA products and expand market presence
•  Collaborate with leadership on sales strategy, product positioning, and market development

Qualifications
•  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
•  Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical or equipment sales
•  Experience with winery, food processing, or industrial equipment strongly preferred

Required Skills
•  Strong consultative sales approach with the ability to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions
•  Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively
•  Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
•  Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
•  Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
•  Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
•  Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
•  Spanish and/or French language skills are a plus

•  Frequent travel within assigned territory
