Compensation & Schedule
$25-$30/hour depending on experience
Wine Club Sign Up Bonus
On-call weekend schedule based on business needs
Approximately 5-10 hours per week
Paid biweekly on Fridays
Overtime paid in accordance with California labor law

What You’ll Do
Welcome guests to The River Club and create a warm, memorable experience
Host seated wine tastings alongside ownership and occasionally independently
Share stories about the wines, vineyards, and brands
Process wine sales and club memberships through our POS system
Help maintain the cleanliness and overall atmosphere of the tasting room
Restock wines and pack orders
Buff glasses and reset room at the end of the day
Support special events, pick-up parties, and weekend activations as needed

Who You Are
Friendly, outgoing, and confident engaging with guests
Passionate about hospitality, wine, and food
Comfortable speaking to groups and creating conversation
Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented
Available weekends
Previous hospitality or wine experience is a plus

The River Club is a collaborative wine tasting space brought to you by two family-owned wineries, Belong Wine Co. and Paper Planes Wine Co. We focus on thoughtful hospitality, fresh and vibrant wines, great conversation, and creating memorable experiences for every guest who walks through the door.

We are looking for a charismatic, wine-loving Weekend Host to join our small team and help bring the energy of The River Club to life on Saturdays and Sundays.
This is a fun opportunity for someone who enjoys people, hospitality, storytelling, and being part of a growing wine community. You’ll work closely alongside ownership while learning about wine, hosting tastings, and helping guests feel genuinely welcomed.
