Hospitality Associate — Job Description Summary

The Hospitality Associate will provide world-class experiences to guests visiting Colgin Cellars. We are seeking a polished, poised professional with a deep commitment to sharing the Colgin Cellars story, philosophy, and sense of place. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, consistent adherence to attire and brand presentation standards, and uncompromising professionalism in all guest-facing moments.
In addition to hospitality responsibilities, this position provides administrative support to the Sales, Private Client, & Executive teams. The Full-Time role requires strong accountability, reliability, and follow-through, with the potential for expanded responsibilities over time.

Hospitality Duties & Responsibilities
•  Deliver refined, thoughtful, high-touch experiences for discerning visitors from around the world.
•  Conduct accurate, engaging vineyard walks and tastings, demonstrating the mastery of Colgin Cellars’ viticulture, soils, history, and winemaking approach.
•  Communicate the importance of Colgin Cellars in the world of fine wine with warmth, precision, and enthusiasm.
•  Follow up with visitors in a timely, thoughtful manner, ensuring each interaction extends beyond the visit and contributes to the development of lasting client relationships.
•  Consistently represent Colgin Cellars in a manner that reflects elegance, sophistication, and approachability.
•  Uphold impeccable guest-facing professionalism at all times.
•  Maintain the required dress code and uniform guidelines every day, ensuring a polished, luxury-appropriate appearance.

Other Duties
•  Perform all setup and breakdown responsibilities, ensuring tasting spaces, glassware, and materials are prepared to Colgin Cellars standards.
•  Relay details and relevant guest information to the Hospitality Manager promptly and accurately.
•  Uphold Flawless Inventory Management with 100% accuracy. Including checking out wines and accounting for them in multiple places.
•  Enter visit details, guest information, and follow-up notes in the CRM system.
•  Client invoicing and visit transactions, ensuring accurate, professional handling of guest contributions, event fees, and follow-up billing
•  Assist with onsite event preparation, execution, and cleanup.
•  Maintain full accountability for assigned tasks and deadlines; consistently communicate when support or clarification is needed.

Requirements
•  3–5 years of experience in luxury hospitality or a wine-focused role.
•  Exceptional communication skills and a refined client-service approach.
•  Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
•  Strong foundational wine knowledge (WSET Level 3 or equivalent preferred).
•  Strong organizational and time-management skills with demonstrated follow-through.
•  Ability to work weekends and maintain a consistent full-time schedule.
•  Ability to lift and transport a case of wine periodically.
•  Professional maturity, reliability, accountability, and a collaborative spirit.
•  This is a Full-Time role with required weekend availability as well as schedule flexibility to support evening events.

•  This is a hands-on, front-of-house position requiring a gracious, warm, and polished demeanor.
•  Must maintain a positive, conscientious, and supportive work environment.
•  Expected to act as a steward of Colgin Cellars at all times—through attire, conduct, communication, and consistency.
