Job Title: Part-Time Tasting Room Attendant

Schedule: Weekday & weekend afternoons/evenings

Founded in 1982, Longoria Wines is a small, family-owned winery producing artisanal, limited-production wines from Santa Barbara County’s premier vineyards. Now, with a tasting room nestled into Santa Barbara's historic Presidio Neighborhood and outward facing to State Street, we have the opportunity to showcase our wines to a much wider variety of guests, both local and visiting.

Position Summary
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic wine lover to join our downtown Santa Barbara tasting room team. This is a part-time position with limited weekly hours to start, though the role may grow over time as needed. As a small team, consistency, communication, and teamwork are incredibly important to us. We rely on one another to create a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience for every guest who walks through our doors.

Key Responsibilities:
-Create a warm and engaging environment for all visitors
-Pour and present wines while sharing the Longoria story and winemaking philosophy
-Educate guests about our wines, vineyards, and winery history
-Operate the POS system and handle transactions accurately
-Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the tasting room
-Restock wine and merchandise as needed
-Assist with wine club activities and special events
-Work weekends and holidays as required
-Contribute positively to a team working toward shared goals

Qualifications:
Must be 21+
-Prior wine or hospitality experience preferred
-Strong customer service and communication skills
-Dependable, punctual, and communicative
-Able to work independently and within a small team
-Comfortable with basic technology (POS systems, email, etc.)
-Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
