X Novo specializes in small-production, estate-grown, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in the Eola-Amity Hills of Oregon.

This multifaceted role presents an opportunity to learn all aspects of winemaking alongside a small and growing team with decades of experience in focused winegrowing.

Though the 2026 growing season is upon us, this role commences with preparations for the 2026 harvest season. This is an opportunity to learn about X Novo, our process and our unique practice and play a part in creating an exacting style of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with a sense of place that the Willamette Valley presents.

Hourly compensation is competitive DOE and housing can be provided at our X Novo Estate in a private apartment all to yourself.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Winery cleanliness and maintenance
Execute all winemaking tasks as directed by winemaking leadership
Perform repetitive winemaking tasks such as topping, additions, cleaning and organization
Participate in vineyard work during growing season and harvest as needed
Participate in winery work from fruit receival and processing through fermentation and aging

Candidate Expectations:

Must be capable of working independently and staying self-motivated
Must be reliable, punctual and flexible
Must be team-oriented, working well with our small group
Ability to repeatedly lift and carry 50 pounds and work on your feet for long hours
Trustworthy and extreme attention to detail when caring for the winery
Willing to learn and adapt to X Novo’s practices and methods
Ability to work extended hours when necessary
Forklift experience is beneficial but not required
Positive attitude and alignment with our goals of producing limited and collectible wines
