Foxen is a family-run vineyard and winery celebrating its fourth decade of business in Santa Barbara County and is looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager to join our management team.
Our Sales & Marketing Manager is an integral part of Foxen’s daily operations by driving Direct-to-Consumer sales strategy, managing Foxen’s digital marketing space, being the expert on our point-of-sale system, and owning our on-site events. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for wine and being a leader, experience in digital marketing and sales analysis, who enjoys thinking strategically to achieve goals, and who finds fulfillment being part of a well-knit team.
Compensation: $74,000 - $83,000 annual salary + commissions
Location: On-site at Foxen Winery with remote days as needed
Classification: Full Time, Exempt
Work Week: Monday through Friday, weekend days as needed
Reports to: Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Responsibilities:
Lead direct-to-consumer sales teams: Tasting Room, Wine Club, and Retail Shipping.
Drive direct-to-consumer sales through sales data analysis and implementing strategies to meet department-wide and company-wide goals.
Oversee product allocation and releases with input from senior leadership.
Be the expert on all things point-of-sale/CRM; organize and lead biannual team trainings on POS/CRM system operations and best practices.
Manage private and personalized label sales program.
Support distribution sales relationships.
Compile, analyze, and present sales data to senior leadership.
Manage digital marketing and design space, including website, external web pages and apps (Google, Yelp, etc.), social media, email and text marketing, and distribution sales collateral.
Manage advertising and print marketing strategies with input from senior leadership.
Manage media submissions and tastings with input from senior leadership.
Host media & trade guests, and attend off-site media, trade & consumer tastings.
Own on-site event management.
Attend and participate in community association meetings & educational sessions: county-wide Direct-to-Consumer Managers, Foxen Canyon Wine Trail, Santa Barbara Vintners, etc.

Qualifications:
2+ years in a recent people management role.
2+ years in customer-facing sales role(s).
Proven experience working with and analyzing sales data, creating and implementing sales strategies.
Proven experience managing events.
2+ years working with WineDirect &/or Commerce7 POS/CRM, Adobe Suite, and Office 365.
Experience working with marketing design tools like Canva, Constant Contact; HTML coding experience a plus.
Proven digital marketing management experience.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Professional in appearance, demeanor, and communications (both written and verbal).
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand/walk for extended periods of time, and perform physical labor.
