Role Overview
We’re looking for a mid-level analyst who thrives on execution. This role is less about high-level strategy and more about getting things done. Clean data, accurate reporting, and consistent follow-through. You’ll be the backbone of day-to-day analytics, supporting sales, finance, and distributor management with timely, reliable insights.
If you like building perfect decks from messy inputs, tracking down missing numbers, and being the person, everyone depends on to “just get it done,” this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Data & Reporting Execution
• Build and maintain weekly/monthly depletion and shipment reports
• Pull and clean data from sources like distributor portals, internal systems, and syndicated data (e.g., NIQ/Nielsen)
• Reconcile discrepancies between shipments, depletions, and inventory
• Own recurring reporting cadences (weekly business reviews, chain performance, state-level summaries)
Sales Support
• Support chain and regional sales teams with ad hoc data requests (pricing builds, velocity checks, program tracking)
• Assist with planner submissions, promotional tracking, and post-program recaps
• Compile sell-in materials with accurate data and clean visuals
Finance Follow-Through
• Track incentives, billbacks, and program performance against targets
• Help manage inventory visibility (what’s available, what’s stuck, what needs to move)
• Flag issues early (out-of-stocks, missed forecasts, data gaps)
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis, as needed
Data Hygiene & Process
• Maintain clean, organized datasets across multiple sources
• Standardize reporting formats and improve repeatable workflows
• Document processes so things don’t break when volume increases
What Success Looks Like
• Reports go out on time, every time, with no errors
• Sales teams trust your numbers without second-guessing
• You catch issues before they become problems
• You reduce noise, turning messy data into clear, usable outputs
• You make the team faster by being reliable and responsive
Qualifications
• 2–5 years of experience in analytics, sales operations, or similar role (CPG, beverage, or distribution preferred)
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling)
• Comfortable working with large, messy datasets
• Experience with industry data tools such as VIP, NielsenIQ, Circana (IRI), or Compass preferred
• Familiarity with 3-tier distribution or beverage alcohol industry is a plus
