The Duckhorn Portfolio is North America’s premier luxury wine company. We were established in 1976 by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn. Today, our portfolio features some of North America’s most revered wineries, including Decoy, Paraduxx, Goldeneye, Migration, Canvasback, Calera, Kosta Browne, Greenwing, Postmark, and Sonoma-Cutrer.

The Director, On-Premise National Accounts is responsible for managing all aspects of the On-Premise National Account business in their assigned territory, with the goal of growing and developing the business for The Duckhorn Portfolio. The Director, On-Premise National Accounts works closely with the Sr. Director and Vice President, On-Premise National Accounts to develop the necessary sales strategies within the assigned accounts. They are proficient with all mechanics of The Duckhorn Portfolio, which includes, but is not limited to, wine knowledge, channel strategies, allocations, company logistics, computer systems, winemaking, vineyard practices, and the hospitality philosophy. Preferred markets to reside in are CA, TX, FL, GA, IL, and CO.

What we will ask you to do:
•  Manages all aspects of account management for the assigned, on-premise national accounts.
•  Develops and maintains strong relationships at the corporate level.
•  Prepares sales strategies designed to grow our business in each assigned account.
•  Prepares annual sales forecasts for each assigned account.
•  Monitors and manages program compliance.
•  Works with Wholesale Sales team to drive execution at the local level.
•  Works with key wholesaler national accounts teams to identify and secure sales opportunities.
•  Works with key national account managers at local wholesale level.
•  Works with Trade Marketing team to deliver created programs that drive sales in assigned accounts.

What you will need:
•  Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
•  Minimum 4 years’ experience in related field.
•  Experience working in the on-premise national account channel either as a supplier or wholesaler.
•  Must have existing relationships with key national accounts.
•  Proficient in Microsoft Office, Power Point, and Excel.
•  Must be a team-oriented person, willing to work closely and transparently with others.
•  Must be a highly driven and well-organized individual.
•  Must be willing to travel as needed to perform the job at the highest level.
•  Must possess a dependable vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of state car registration, insurance, and a clean driving record.
