Job Description:

About Us:
Durant at Red Ridge Farms is rooted in the landscape of the West and grounded in its identity as a family farm. At the heart of our marketing is a simple goal: to create a genuine sense of who we are through warm, honest storytelling rooted in daily life on the farm. We share the care and intention behind everything we make, from wine and food to home and body products, so people can feel the place, the people, and the work behind it whether they are visiting in person or connecting with us from afar. We focus on real moments and everyday experiences, capturing life on the property as it unfolds and sharing it in a way that feels natural and unforced. Our aim is to reflect the warmth, simplicity, and genuine spirit that define Durant.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative, adaptable, and dependable Marketing Assistant to support hands-on, on-site marketing efforts for Durant Oregon. The ideal candidate is both self-motivated and collaborative, someone who is ambitious and creative, takes direction well, and can also think quickly and adjust on their feet in a fast-paced, real-world environment. This role focuses on capturing and creating real-time content that showcases the unique atmosphere, events, and everyday life of the farm. An interest or familiarity with wine or olive oil is a plus, but not required, we are happy to teach and provide context for everything we do.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager who oversees ecommerce strategy, planning, and execution, this position focuses on support of marketing efforts with content creation, on-site execution, and collaborative collateral creation.
This role also offers strong growth potential. The initial part-time schedule provides an opportunity to learn directly from the Marketing Manager and build foundational marketing skills, with the possibility of expanding into a full-time position for the right candidate.

Key Traits We’re Looking For:
Flexible and adaptable
Quick learner
Willing to learn and try new things
Creative and proactive
Positive attitude and team-oriented
Nice to Have:
Experience with short-form video content creation
Basic photography or videography skills
Familiarity with tools like Adobe Creative Suite
Interest in events, local marketing, or community engagement
Qualifications:
Comfortable creating photo and video content (smartphone)
Familiar with platforms like Instagram and Facebook
Basic design skills using tools like Canva (or similar)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Understand how copy and storytelling shape audience perception and communicate brand messaging clearly
Able to work independently and take initiative

What This Role Looks Like:
This is primarily a hands-on, on-location role with some hybrid opportunity. Most work will be done on-site, capturing real experiences and helping translate them into engaging digital content. Ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the environment, interacting with people, and creating in real time.

Key Responsibilities
Capture and create short-form video content for social media while staying true to Durant branding (Reels, TikTok-style) for experiences, events, and day-to-day activity
Assist in creating marketing collateral and campaigns (flyers, emails, graphics, digital and physical assets)
Support event planning and on-site event execution as needed
Help maintain a consistent flow of fresh, engaging content
Collaborate on creative ideas and content opportunities
