Position Summary
We are seeking a Commercial Planning Analyst to join the Vinattieri 1385 Commercial Operations team. Based in Napa Valley, this role is responsible for driving disciplined sales and inventory planning, as well as delivering clear, consistent reporting and analysis that informs the organization and supports decision-making. The position partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Logistics teams to align execution with our long-term commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Forecasting & Planning
• Proactively maintain sales and supply plans in close collaboration with sales leadership and supply chain teams.
• Contribute to the annual sales budgeting and rolling forecast process, supporting Commercial Operations, Sales and Marketing Leadership.
Sales Performance Analysis
• Develop reporting and analysis on depletions, shipments, and distributor sales data
• Track KPIs including volume, revenue, depletions, pricing support, and distribution by brand, region, and channel
Pricing Strategy
• Partner with Marketing to maintain wholesale pricing standards
• Work with Sales Managers to ensure in-market pricing is set up in a timely manner
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to set up and maintain reporting tools that monitor sales performance against planned targets
• Provide support to Vinattieri 1385 Sales Directors and Commercial Operations, ensuring smooth execution of quarterly sales team initiatives
• Provide support to DTC team in the sales and inventory planning processes
Ad-Hoc Projects
• Lead or support special projects and assignments that advance the objectives of the Vinattieri 1385 Sales team and contribute to overall business success

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or similar field
• Proficiency with a data analysis tool such as Power BI, advanced in Excel; experience with VIP or similar platform preferred
• Experience in the wine, beverage, or wholesale distribution industry
Ideal Candidate Experience
• Experience working with sales, inventory, or distribution data in an analyst or planning role
• Familiarity with supplier and distributor dynamics, including an understanding of shipments, depletions, pricing, inventory, and logistics
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, JD Edwards, or similar) is a plus
