We are a small, family-run, and team-oriented winery focusing on making low-intervention, cool-climate wines sourced from grapes in the Sta. Rita Hills. We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic part-time Tasting Room Associate. You will be exposed to our winemaking process and have the opportunity to learn about multiple facets of our business. This position is part-time and 1-2 times a week, with the opportunity to grow into more for the right candidate. SAMsARA is growing quickly and we want you to grow with us!

Responsibilities - Los Olivos and Goleta Tasting Room


Guide guests through their wine tasting experience

Consistently demonstrate a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional attitude

Connect with each guest so they leave feeling like they are part of the SAMsARA community

Educate our guests about our wines as well as our farming and wine-making practices

Ask for sales related to wine clubs and up-selling

Identify our wine club members and make them feel extra-special

Maintain a clean, sanitary and welcoming environment in the tasting room



Desired Qualifications:

A contagious enthusiasm for wine (or strong motivation to learn)

Wine industry experience preferred but not required

Flexibility to work in both our Los Olivos and Goleta tasting rooms

Possess excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

Highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented with the ability to work in a diverse environment

Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, G drive, and Dropbox

Must have a California driver’s license and reliable transportation

Be able to lift 40 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
