ROCO Winery is seeking motivated seasonal trainees/interns for the 2026 harvest. This position will start at the end of August/beginning of September and run into November.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Forklift operations
• Additions to juice, must and wine
• Cleaning and sanitation of equipment, tanks and workspaces
• Topping
• Racking
• Movement of juice, must and wine
• Barrel preparation and filling
• Cap management – PUNCH-DOWNS!!
• Juice inoculations
QUALIFYING SKILLS
• Knowledge of wine and wine production preferred.
• Excellent working as a team.
• Personally motivated and accountable.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Versatile, flexible, and willing to work with constantly changing priorities and do it with enthusiasm.
• Candidates MUST be approved to work in the US through CAEP or similar organization or obtain their own work visa through the US government and their home country.

COMPENSATION AND WORKING HOURS
Compensation: $16 - $20 per hour, with overtime paid when applicable.
Working Hours: This position will range from 40 hours a week to potentially over 70 hours per week.
Reports to: Associate Winemaker and Cellar Master
