The Hospitality Assistant helps our Wine Hosts and management team to deliver an exceptional hospitality focused guest experience. The Hospitality Assistant is an enthusiastic individual with an innate ability to multitask in a luxury environment. This detail-oriented role focuses on many behind–the–scenes tasks to prepare our tasting rooms for daily wine service operations. The position is varied, ranging from bussing tables and general cleanliness, to utilizing customer service and hospitality skills.
What to expect from this role:
- Assists with the daily tasting room set-up for private tastings, and is proficient in both opening and closing procedures
- Assist with our culinary programs. This includes but is not limited, assistance in setting up caviar service and assembly of our culinary pairings. No actual cooking experience is required
- Clears and cleans tables in our private tasting spaces, and maintains general cleanliness of all guest facing areas
- Assist in cleaning and polishing all glassware and any applicable plates and other dish ware
- Sets up seated tastings, private and VIP tastings
- Pre-pours wine for tasting experiences to assist the Hosts with a luxury tasting experience
- Sets up the greet station daily with champagne and flutes
Requirements:
- Ability to work weekends and select holidays
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer skills, including POS and reservation systems
- Valid Driver's License
