The Opportunity
Based at Martaella Estate and reporting to the Director of DTC, the Estate Manager sits at the center of the Benovia experience. This role connects tasting room performance, hospitality, estate cottages, local partnerships, and daily estate readiness. You will shape guest experience, drive visitation and revenue, and help convert visits into long-term customer relationships. This is a high-ownership, cross-functional role with strong visibility and growth potential.

Key Responsibilities
•  Lead tasting room operations: guest experience, reservations, staffing, service standards, merchandising, and sales execution
•  Drive revenue, repeat visitation, and wine club conversion through strong hospitality and follow-up
•  Build and manage a referral network (concierges, hotels, tour operators, transportation providers, event planners, local partners)
•  Serve as a local ambassador through outreach, hosting, and partner engagement programs
•  Oversee estate cottages (Airbnb/Vrbo): guest communication, calendars, pricing, housekeeping, billing, and reviews
•  Leverage cottages to drive wine sales, club growth, and repeat visitation
•  Manage day-to-day estate operations: guest spaces, vendors, repairs, supplies, and property presentation
•  Support DTC operations: shipping coordination, wine ordering, packaging/supplies, inventory support, mail handling
•  Hire, train, schedule, and coach a small hospitality team
•  Partner on events, activations, and programming to grow DTC revenue

Ideal Candidate
You may come from winery hospitality, luxury hotels, DTC sales, or high-touch guest services. You are a host, operator, relationship-builder, and team leader.
•  Deliver natural, elevated, personalized hospitality
•  Balance guest experience with measurable business outcomes
•  Comfortable in both front-of-house and operational execution
•  Strong local relationship-building and brand representation skills
•  Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
•  Thrive in autonomous, build-and-own environments

Qualifications
•  5+ years in winery hospitality, luxury hospitality, DTC sales/operations, guest services, or related leadership
•  Proven success driving sales, visitation, club conversion, and partnerships
•  Short-term rental or boutique lodging experience preferred
•  Experience with inventory, shipping, vendors, or operations a plus
•  Team leadership experience (hiring, training, coaching)
•  Strong communication skills
•  Valid California driver’s license

Work Environment
•  Full-time, on-site at Martaella Estate
•  Weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings required
•  Hands-on role across tasting room, cottages, and estate operations
•  Ability to stand, walk property, and handle wine, packages, and supplies
Must be 21+
