REX HILL, a boutique winery located in Newberg, Oregon, is seeking an enthusiastic and goal-oriented person to join our team as a Seasonal, Part-time Sales & Hospitality Associate. The successful candidate cares deeply about the guest experience and understands how to combine service with sales skills to achieve goals. This entry level position is located in our state-of-the-art tasting space and offers substantial opportunities to maximize earning potential by tapping into a three-prong compensation structure comprised of a competitive hourly wage, access to a tip pool and commission sales. Evenings & Weekends are required.

Job Responsibilities:

•  Provide a clear overview of wine tasting menu, wine & bottle service options, food offerings, and other elevated experiences.
•  Maintain general appearance of tasting spaces to provide a brand-appropriate guest experience.
•  Assist as needed or assigned with set-up, stocking of supplies, etc.
•  Work in cooperation with the hospitality staff to achieve service and sales goals.

Position Requirements:

•  Proven track record of exemplary customer service and communication skills.
•  High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
•  Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
•  Must have or be able to obtain a valid OLCC card and Food Handler's Permit. Must be able to work Saturday and Sunday, in addition to some weekday and/or evening shifts.
•  Bilingual Spanish speakers preferred.

Physical Requirements:

•  Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds up and down stairs on a regular basis.
•  Must be able to stand for extended periods and navigate stairs or uneven surfaces as needed.
•  Comfortable working in an environment that is primarily indoors, with occasional tasks in our warehouse or the production areas.
•  Some outdoor work may be required for events or operational needs.
•  Ability to speak comfortably and audibly in front of groups.

Your Compensation:

$18 per hour + tip pool & commissions
