Four Feathers Wine Estates, apart of Zirkle Fruit Company, is a family-owned custom crush winery based in Prosser, Washington. Our skilled team is dedicated to producing the highest quality wines while supporting our partners with precision and care. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented person that is adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to support our winemaking team from July to December 2026. This internship plays a key role in maintaining wine quality, compliance, and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
•  Support all harvest-related winemaking operations, including fermentation monitoring, wine stabilities, and work order execution.
•  Collaborate with winemakers daily on cellar activities and production planning.
•  Monitor fermentations (Brix, temperature, taste) and issue timely adjustments.
•  Execute daily and weekly objectives set by the winemaking team.
•  Provide cross-functional support across red, white, and sparkling winemaking.
•  Assist with wine preparation and timing for packaging operations.
•  Monitor and manage vessels, track key metrics, and communicate any concerns.
•  Maintain accurate and timely records and ensure batch compliance.
Qualifications
•  Degree or student in Enology, Chemistry, or related field.
•  1+ years of experience in a winery or production environment.
•  Some technical knowledge of winemaking processes.
•  Excellent organizational, math, and record-keeping skills.
•  Effective verbal and written communication skills.
•  Detail-oriented with a high standard for accuracy and quality.
•  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
•  Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends and swing shifts – some flexibility with
student’s class schedule.
