Job Description:
Massanois is a New York City–based national importer and direct distributor of fine wines and craft spirits. We represent a portfolio of 250+ family-owned, quality-driven wineries and distilleries from around the world.
We are direct in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Illinois, California, Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia, and partner with independent distributors in 41 additional states. Our mission is to discover exceptional producers and connect them with leading restaurants, retailers, national accounts, and distributors across the country.
A sampling of the portfolio includes: Poderi Aldo Conterno, BiBi Graetz, Esprit de Pavie, Chateau Gassier, Bruno Paillard, Domaine du Chalet Pouilly, Maison Champy, Salcheto, Tenuta di Bibbiano, Fanti, Laura Aschero, Jean Max Roger, Joyce, Whistler, The Walls, Marchelle, Heimat, Boken Sake, Montanaro Spirits, among other notable brands.
We are looking for a full-time operations associate in New York, New York.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with a Wine Importer/Wholesaler/Retailer a plus but not required
• Proficient at using Microsoft Office specifically Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good knowledge of and passion for the fine wine category
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
Job Responsibilities:
• Process direct orders, working closely with various sales teams
• Oversee multi-warehouse inventory reconciliations
• Oversee daily vendor invoice entries
• Warehouse transfer inbounding and ETA communications to sales team
• Customer service and troubleshooting for direct and national sales teams
