Position Summary
The Cellar Worker 3 is the most skilled level worker in the cellar. They can perform any job in the cellar and are asked to be cellar leads the harvest. They also are the trainers for the lower-level workers and harvest crew. As such, they may be called upon to be the harvest night-time swing shift supervisor.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodations or other reasons.
•  The Cellar Worker III must be capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. This is a physically demanding job, requiring the cellar worker to move wine hoses and lift empty wine barrels repeatedly during a working day.
•  They must also be able to work long hours and different shifts of the day, as during harvest.
•  They will perform varying tasks such as sanitizing wine tanks, wine pumps, wine hoses, barrels, presses, grape processing equipment and any other equipment necessary to maintain the integrity of the must and wine.
•  They will help with the receiving and processing of grapes, grape crushing and must tank set up.
•  During harvest they will perform must circulations, pumpovers and rack and returns and must removal from tanks.
•  They will set up a clean racking of wine from one tank to another, wine equipment set up for moving wine from a tank to the barrels inside the wine caves. They will stage wine barrels on the racks inside the cave and prepare the barrel identification cards. They will rack wine from the barrels and set up the wine tanks within the wine caves and help to clean and maintain the wine barrels.
•  They will be proficient in how to read and perform cellar tasks from the cellar work order. They will know the proper way of filling out the work order and giving feedback via the work order.
•  The Cellar Worker III will help with the continuing training of the Cellar II and Cellar I workers.
•  The Cellar Worker III will be proficient in how to properly set up and execute the technique of filling the wine barrels, topping of the wine barrels and making additions to the wine barrels. They will also know how to make additions to wine tanks and mixing of tanks.
•  During the harvest they will help train the harvest cellar workers on all aspects of the cellar and become the cellar lead for the harvest cellar worker team.
•  The Cellar Worker III will have the responsibility to be able to run the crossflow filter and be able to prepare the wine for bottling using the QC protocol. They will be able to do each of the jobs on the bottling line and know how to use the forklift to move the case goods to and from the bottling line. As their skill increases, they will help with bottling line inventory of the bottling supplies and assist the Cellar Master in preparing the bottling for the upcoming bottling.


Qualifications
•  Skill level: Skilled level position. Fully trained in all aspects of the cellar.
•  Experience: 4 to 6 years’ prior experience required.
•  Language Requirements: Must be able to read and understand English. Must be able to speak Spanish.
•  Education: High school or equivalent
•  Supervision: Limited supervision

The projected hourly pay range for this position is $26.00 to $30.00 per hour in addition to annual bonus.

This is the projected compensation for this position, however the actual compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as (but not limited to) candidate qualifications, related experience and education, candidate work location and market data. Crimson Wine Group reserves the right to modify the pay range/rate at any time in the future.
