A small, family-owned winery in Sonoma County is seeking an experienced and personable On-Call Tasting Room Host to join our hospitality team. This contract position plays a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and representing our wines, story, and commitment to quality. Responsibilities:
•  Provide warm, knowledgeable, and engaging wine tastings that reflect the winery’s values and winemaking philosophy.
•  Drive direct-to-consumer sales through expert wine recommendations and wine club promotion.
•  Deliver exceptional hospitality during both walk-in and reservation-based tastings, private events, and VIP experiences.
•  Accurately process sales transactions and assist with daily setup, breakdown, and cleanup duties.
•  Maintain a professional and welcoming tasting environment reflective of a high-end wine experience.
•  Support the hospitality and events teams during peak periods, weekends, and special events as needed.

Qualifications:
•  Minimum 21 years of age with prior tasting room or luxury hospitality experience.
•  Strong wine knowledge and a sincere enthusiasm for sharing it with guests.
•  Self-directed, reliable, and adaptable with an ability to step in confidently when needed.
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; polished, professional presence.
•  Capable of standing and engaging with guests for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
•  Availability to work weekends, holidays, and special events as scheduled.
