Job Description:

Located in the center of the famed Ribbon Ridge AVA, Trisaetum Winery is a family-owned and operated winery that vinifies hand-picked fruit from our three dry-farmed estate vineyards in Oregon's Willamette Valley. Our three vineyards include our Ribbon Ridge vineyard in the Ribbon Ridge AVA, our Coast Range vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA and our Wichmann Dundee vineyard in the Dundee Hills AVA.

Our harvest internship lasts approximately 8 weeks, beginning at the start of September.

Trisaetum Winery produces a vast array of varietals and styles including:
•  Sparkling Wines (Blanc de Blancs, Brut Rosé, Pinot Meunier)
•  Pinot Noir (6 clones)
•  Riesling (Dry, Medium Dry, Late Harvest)
•  Chardonnay
•  Gamay Noir
•  Cabernet Sauvignon (Walla Walla Valley AVA)
•  Merlot (Walla Walla Valley AVA)
•  Syrah (The Rocks AVA)

Personal growth is an important part of our harvest experience. Therefore, we ensure that our interns get a well-rounded experience. Daily tasks include:
•  Tasting juice, fermentation and finished wine samples alongside our winemaking team
•  Cluster sampling
•  Barrel preparation
•  Fruit sorting
•  General oenology work
•  Cap management for both whole cluster and de-stemmed ferments
•  Native pied de cuve inoculations
•  Racking and barreling down using gravity, gas and pumps
•  Harvest lunch provided daily

To ensure a successful and smooth harvest, we require that interns must:
•  Maintain a positive attitude
•  Have a passion for wine
•  Be flexible and adaptable to unique situations
•  Be able to work by themselves or with other team members
•  Have strong attention to detail and punctuality
•  Be able to lift 50lbs
•  Have a love for cleaning
