We’re looking for a Part-Time Tasting Room Host to join our team. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with people from all over, and understands that great hospitality and great sales go hand in hand. Someone who can read a table, tell a story, and confidently guide a guest from their first sip to a bottle (or a membership) they’re excited to take home.
What You’ll Do: As a Tasting Room Host, you’ll play a key role in shaping each guest’s experience, Guiding the flow of the tasting, creating connection, and driving our direct-to-consumer business.
- Greet guests with warmth and genuine hospitality
- Guide guests through tastings in a way that is engaging, educational, and tailored to the moment
- Actively drive wine sales and wine club sign-ups through thoughtful recommendations and conversation
- Share the story of Gary Farrell wines in a way that feels natural (never scripted)
- Read the room and adapt your approach to create a memorable, personalized experience
- Work collaboratively with the team to keep the day running smoothly
- Help maintain a polished, guest-ready space at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- A natural host who enjoys connecting with people and selling wine
- Comfortable with sales and motivated by goals (this is a sales-focused role)
- Positive, team-oriented, and ready to jump in wherever needed
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable multitasking in a busy environment
- Weekend availability (required)
- Previous hospitality, retail, or wine experience is a plus but not required

The Details:
- Part-time position (2–3 days per week)
- Weekend availability required
- $22/hour + commission + tips
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis.
- Ability to work in a standing and/or walking position for long periods of time.
- Ability to effectively stock wine and non-wine merchandise, set up and break down structures, tables, etc., and be able to utilize dolly cart or other equipment to move heavy objects.
