Siltstone Wines is looking for a part-time tasting room associate for the 2026 season, with potential to continue into the future. The Tasting Room Associate plays a key role in delivering a welcoming and educational experience to visitors, supporting sales activities and event operations within a small team. This position is ideal for someone passionate about customer service in a retail or hospitality environment and comfortable working weekends. We are looking for someone available to work immediately approximately 2 weekends a month until the end of our season in November, Saturdays and Sundays 11:30-5:30.

Prior tasting room experience preferred but not required. Duties include opening and closing tasks, tending to customers in a friendly and timely manner, ensuring all state and local laws relevant to alcohol service are adhered to, and providing a friendly and welcoming environment.

Pay is $15-17.50 per hour DOE plus tips.

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service and product education to guests
Assist with sales transactions and operate the point of sale (POS) system accurately
Support event coordination and preparation efforts as part of a small team
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the tasting room
Help create a positive and engaging environment during peak periods including weekends and holidays


Preferred Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in retail or hospitality settings
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong customer service and communication skills
Familiarity with point of sale (POS) systems
Knowledge of products and ability to educate customers effectively
Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation
