Job Description:

The F. Korbel & Bros., Inc. Supply Chain team is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Schedule and Logistics Coordinator to support production planning and material logistics across the organization. This role reports to the Planning Manager and serves as a key liaison between Production, Procurement, and external vendors to ensure materials, inventory, and scheduling needs are met efficiently. The position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate data, supporting production schedules, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
•  Coordinate material logistics for production, including glass (cuvee, brandy, and table wine) and fiber
•  Manage and maintain product master data and product structures within JDE (ERP system)
•  Generate purchase requisitions based on production schedules (MRP planning)
•  Monitor and manage inventory levels, adjusting purchase orders and delivery schedules as needed
•  Conduct inventory checks and support supplier inventory validation and glass clean-outs
•  Prepare and manage winemaker signoffs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
•  Oversee UPC and SCC creation and maintain accurate product records
•  Manage changing specifications and ensure timely system updates
•  Process return authorizations for materials as needed
•  Attend and contribute to weekly production meetings
•  Partner with Accounting to review and approve invoices
•  Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the Planning department
•  Serve as backup support for Procurement and Production Administration functions, including purchase orders and work orders
•  Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, vendors, and transportation partners
Qualifications & Skills
•  Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
•  Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
•  Experience with JDE or similar ERP systems preferred
•  Knowledge of production planning, materials management, or inventory control preferred
•  Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements related to labeling is a plus
•  Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments
•  Flexible, adaptable, and able to work with changing priorities
•  Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record required
Education & Experience
•  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field required
•  3+ years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or inventory control environment preferred
•  Experience in materials planning or production scheduling is a plus
