Job Description:

We're seeking a wine loving professional with strong hospitality and wine industry experience to provide an exemplary customer experience in our Tasting Room. The potential candidate will be able to speak about our wines, and other farm products, efficiently complete customer transactions, maintain the public space, and promote club memberships. This position is right for you if you are reliable, have an outgoing personality, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy connecting with others!

General Duties:
•  Wine service and education
•  Promote and rentain wine club memberships through exemplary service
•  Foster genuine relationships with members and guests, sharing Chrysalis Vineyards history and brand
•  Lead with integrity by treating others with kindness and respect
•  Maximize productivity during slower times in order to maintain the tasting room and property
•  Stay up to date on current promotions, sales initiatives, and specials to share with guests
•  Create an enjoyable, engaging, and educational wine experience for guests
•  Act as an ambassador for Chrysalis Vineyards and the Ag District
•  Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Tasting Room Manager

Qualifications:
•  Work authorization (Required)
•  Winery/Restaurant experience: 1 year (Preferred) Hospitality and sales experience are a plus!
•  Friendly, Reliable, punctual, with an outgoing personality
•  Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and be on your feet for extended periods of time
•  Strong communication skills with the ability to speak with small and large groups
•  Ability to work with others
•  Ability to multi-task and follow-up with customers
•  Ability to organize, prioritize and accomplish tasks with little or no supervision
•  Flexible schedule, mainly weekends
•  Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation (required)
•  21 years or older.
