Summary
The Operations Manager is the operational backbone of Accendo Estate, ensuring the business runs with precision and efficiency. This role owns planning, tracking, and coordination functions across financial reporting, inventory, compliance, packaging logistics, vendor relationships, and cross-functional projects. A key partner to the Managing Partner and primary liaison with Cortina Vineyard Management, compliance, fulfillment and accounting partners.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Finance
• Channel sales tracking and Actual vs. Budget reporting across fiscal, sales, and activity dimensions
• Lead S&OP meetings quarterly/semi-annually; manage accounting approvals and COA; liaise with external accounting partners
Inventory & Offerings
• Month-end inventory reporting: ledger updates, warehouse reports, SVOO DTC reconciliation, CRV tracking, SKU consolidation
• Coordinate offering logistics across DTC and wholesale channels, including timing, inventory, and customer communications
Packaging & Compliance
• Plan dry goods ordering for bottling; oversee special packaging projects for quality and on-time delivery
• Liaison with compliance consultant Melissa Prentice; manage monthly compliance reporting, COLAs, and regulatory filings for DTC and wholesale
Vendor, Wholesale & Industry Relations
• Manage fulfillment, packaging, and logistics vendor relationships; negotiate terms and maintain service levels
• Oversee wholesale order processing and channel performance tracking
• Primary liaison to Trig, NVV, and other industry organizations; coordinate media mailings and communications
Production & Administration
• Track harvest data and serve as production conduit between Accendo leadership and Wheeler Farms
• Manage insurance policies, bonds, licenses, permits, and operational filings
• Manage and synthesize reporting across Enolytics, Offset, and other platforms; lead special projects as directed
Qualifications
• 5+ years in operations, finance, or general management; wine industry or luxury consumer goods preferred
• Strong financial acumen: budgeting, actuals tracking, management reporting
• Familiarity with DTC compliance, inventory management, and fulfillment operations
• Experience with Sovos ShipCompliant, Enolytics, Offset, or similar platforms a plus
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication; self-directed and proactive in a small-team environment
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; accounting software familiarity a plus
• Passion for wine and alignment with Accendo Estate’s commitment to quality and integrity
Work Environment
Primarily office-based with occasional on-site presence at Wheeler Farms, our vineyards and warehouse facilities. May require lifting up to 40 lbs occasionally and working in cellar environments.
