We are looking for 2 interns to join our small, dynamic team for the 2026 harvest season. This position will run from June to December, extending or contracting as determined by the growing season. This is a hands-on, engaging opportunity to learn the full spectrum of harvest at a creative, craft-focused facility.
Veso is based in Sonoma and is a producer of contemporary wine-based aperitifs and vermouths, founded in 2021 by Chris Beyer, who pushes boundaries and eschews preconceptions of the category to craft fortified wines that are approachable, innovative, and delicious. Veso is produced in small batches and prioritizes transparency, listing each botanical and its origins prominently on the front label. Each expression is crafted using locally sourced California wines, locally distilled neutral grape spirit, and botanicals that are organic and locally sourced whenever possible — with no artificial flavors or additives.
During harvest, we also support 5-10 luxury custom crush winemakers and brands alongside our vermouth and aperitif program. The primary focus of this internship will be supporting Custom Crush winemaking clients spanning Napa and Sonoma, giving interns the opportunity to work with many winemakers with diverse styles across different sub-regions and grape varieties. Interns will also have the opportunity to participate in Veso's vermouth and aperitif production, offering a truly unique and well-rounded experience in craft beverage making.
